Niko Efstathiou
Niko is a journalist and author who is currently a contributing editor for Kathimerini English Edition and the Editorial Director at REBORRN. He was the Managing Editor for LiFO and a journalist for Kathimerini, as well as a Communications Advisor for the World Health Organization in the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, and was also selected as a Google News Lab Fellow working on the intersection of video citizen journalism and human rights documentation. He is a graduate of Yale University and Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs and he has written the best-selling biography of Pyrros Dimas, Greece’s most decorated Olympic athlete. His work has appeared on the BBC, Al Jazeera, NBC News and the International New York Times in Greece.
