Harris Daskalakis was born in Athens, Greece, in 1981.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, U.S., as well as a Master’s Degree with Honours from the London School of Economics, UK, in European Law and Government.
He completed his military service in the Navy in 2005 and worked as an analyst at the National Bank of Greece from 2006 until 2008.
In 2009, he was appointed Executive Director of the International Schools of Greece, and in 2011, he became the Executive Director at BCA College.
In 2014, he founded Athens Tech College, a computer engineering college offering Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in partnership with the University of York, and the startup company “e-ducation,” which provides production, training, and educational games for e-learning.
In 2020, he founded the Greek Institute of Maritime Education, an organization specializing in global online education.
Mr. Daskalakis is an elected member of the Greek Entrepreneurs Association.
