In the summer of 2004, after Greece winning the EURO and holding the Olympic Games in Athens, Nikos, naturally optimistic, founded Orientum with his fellow post-graduate student, Spyros Michaloulis. Earlier, having graduated from the Department of Primary Education Aegean University, in Rhodes, and having completed his postgraduate course “Counseling and Career Guidance” at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, he undertook the organization of career counseling services of Arsakeion schools in Athens for two years.

In Orientum, he started writing with his research team in 2006, the first book «PAME..PANEPISTIMIO”, and since then it has been published every year. He is a keynote speaker at Orientum events for students and parents on topics related to career guidance, education, choice of studies, and the labor market. His main concern is to coordinate the team of career counselors and to develop useful psychometric tools. His mission is to help young students becoming occupationally happy, by choosing the most suitable studies for them and developing a unique study and career path!

A restless spirit, he does not stop thinking and planning new projects, looking for cooperation with companies or other organizations, in matters related to skills in the labor market, studies, and career training of human resources. He enjoys leading the Orientum team daily and, in his spare time, he reads books and plays with his two daughters.
