Anastasia Veneti
Dr. Anastasia Veneti is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Media and Communication, at Bournemouth University (UK). Her research focuses on political communication. She is the winner of the Best Paper prize and the Best Paper in the Critical Marketing Track by the Academy of Marketing for her co-authored research on the use of visual branding techniques by the 2014 Hong Kong Umbrella Movement. She is the co-convenor of the Centre for Comparative Politics & Media Research, and Program Leader of the MA International Political Communication. She is Editor in Chief of the Journal of Visual Political Communication. Her work has been published in peer reviewed international journals and conferences and featured in national and international print (for e.g., The New York Times, The New European, El Pais a.o.).
